The only good thing is probably the friends you make in training school that later turn out to become besties even after all of you have left the bank and the fancy of having Access Bank in your CV. Oh yeah. I remember now. Staff Bus. It's not enough for the number of staff they have but at least if you can hustle your way to car park ontime. You get to reduce cost of transportation when you are able to get a seat in the staff Bus

Whatever you do in this life, do not work as a contract/outsourced staff in Access Bank especially if your recruiting firm is Sumeru. Access Bank treats their outsourced staff like trash and forget everything they told you about conversion in training school, it NEVER happens. If you've stayed very long in the bank and you've probably worked hard and brought some money into the bank, they'll compensate with a team lead or one ridiculous position that does not necessarily translate into salary increase or career growth. Then the very rude full-staff supervisors that lack basic human empathy. All in all, it's an extremely toxic workplace.

What I enjoyed most has to be interacting with the customers. I got to know some customers over time and they made the job worthwhile. To an extent I enjoyed the whole camaraderie with my fellow interns

Access bank overworks it’s staff, they get half of the staff strength and still expect you to do the work on exceptionally. All those we are a lovely place to work/build your career, we are a family and all they teach at the training school with a smiling face is a big lie. Official closing time is 6:00pm but I can count on my fingers how many times I closed at that time. I have gotten home around 12:00am and my branch was close to my house o. They also pay attention more to some branches than the other. Access bank has more contract staff than full staff but they do not treat them well at all. Your bus can speak to you anyhow, it’s a crazy house really. They have this system of sharing bonuses: If you don’t have a certain grade you will not get a bonus. The criteria fits what I have an issue with because it is a cumulative of a lot of things, one of which is your branch ambience and all. There are some branch that are at a disadvantage because of their location Waow market branches or branches close to the market. The painful thing for me is that this branches do a whole lot of hard work due to the large crowd they handle but they are not compensated enough. Somebody with a fine empty branch in Lekki is graded higher than them.
