Scib can be very slow when it comes to Succession planning. They either don’t have it or they are too slow in implementing it. If you do not write CIIN, you are going to grow slow. There’s room for growing personally in other fields of interest but your managers will almost always want to see to it that you are solely focused on insurance broking. Your ideas can be swept under the carpet easily especially if it is not anything to do with insurance. If you have an open mind, don’t stay there too long!
