About the role

Responsibilities: Collect accurate field data through surveys, observations, interviews, questionnaires, and other approved data-collection methods. Conduct community visits, consultations, stakeholder engagements, and interviews in line with project requirements. Capture GPS coordinates, geotagged photographs, site observations, and other location-based information as required. Document field findings clearly and submit accurate, complete, and timely reports or data entries. Identify and report field-level issues, access constraints, data gaps, or unusual observations to the project team. Support environmental and social assessments, baseline studies, site assessments, and related field research activities where required. Engage respectfully with community members, local stakeholders, and relevant authorities while maintaining professional conduct. Follow project-specific fieldwork procedures, data-quality standards, safety, security, and community-entry protocols. Protect the confidentiality and integrity of information collected during field assignments. Coordinate effectively with supervisors and other field team members and remain available for assigned field activities and travel. Requirements: Experience in field data collection, research, environmental/social assessment, community engagement, GIS/GPS, or related activities. Relevant educational or professional background. Strong observation, documentation, and reporting skills. Ability to collect GPS coordinates and geotagged photographs. Ability to conduct interviews, consultations, and stakeholder engagement where required. Strong knowledge of local communities, LGAs, towns, and routes within your area of coverage. Strong communication, teamwork, professionalism, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently while providing accurate and timely field information. Willingness and availability to travel for field assignments where required. Project Coverage: All 36 states of Nigeria: individuals with relevant experience, strong local networks,people-mobilisation capacity, or technical skills that can support field assignments.
