About the role

Responsibilities: Maintain accurate accounting records and financial statements. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts. Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and treasury activities. Reconcile bank accounts and loan portfolio records. Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Monitor branch income, expenses, and profitability. Ensure proper accounting treatment of loan disbursements, repayments, provisions, and write-offs. Prepare weekly and monthly financial performance reports for management. Coordinate statutory remittances, including PAYE, pension and Taxes. Liaise with auditors, regulators, financial institutions, and funding partners. Establish and maintain internal financial controls and processes. Monitor operational expenses and recommend cost-saving initiatives. Supervise accounting staff and ensure compliance with company policies. Support management with financial analysis and strategic decision-making. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or HND in accounting, finance, economics, or a related discipline. A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent will be an added advantage. Minimum of 3–5 years relevant experience in finance, accounting, microfinance, lending, fintech, or financial services. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, treasury management, and internal controls. Candidate with close proximity to Satellite . Location: Satellite Town, Lagos Remuneration: NGN 150,000 - 200,000
