Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilties: Lead, manage, and mentor the software development team, ensuring accountability and high performance. Manage software projects end-to-end, from planning and architecture through development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend and backend applications. Deliver projects and product releases on schedule, with strong attention to deadlines and commitments. Collaborate with product, design, customer service, and other teams to deliver solutions that meet business and customer needs. Write clean, secure, maintainable, well-tested, and well-documented code. Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and continuously improve system performance and reliability. Contribute to product strategy, architecture, technical decisions, and development best practices. Take ownership of existing products and proactively identify opportunities to improve functionality, usability, and performance. Use AI and modern development tools to improve engineering productivity, code quality, and delivery speed. Requirements: Strong experience leading and managing a software development team. Strong end-to-end project management skills, with demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time. Advanced proficiency with AI development and productivity tools, including Codex, ChatGPT, Claude, and similar tools. Strong full-stack development experience, particularly with Django and NestJS, plus solid frontend development skills. Excellent time management, ownership, and delivery discipline. Strong understanding of customer service and user experience, with the ability to build solutions around customer needs. Strong passion for technology and the products being developed, with a continuous-improvement mindset. Experience with REST APIs, databases, Git/version control, testing, debugging, and deployment. Good understanding of software architecture, security, scalability, and performance optimization. Strong communication, problem-solving, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Remuneration: NGN 600,000 – 650,000 Monthly
