About the role
Responsibilities: Handle all staff recruitment processes (job posting, screening, interviews coordination) Handle all staff exit processes (exit interviews, exit entitlement in line with company policy, handover of duties and replacement). Manage all staff records (personal files, job roles, contracts). Ensure proper onboarding of new staff. Maintain an updated staff list and departmental allocations. Attendance and time management alongside departmental heads. Prepare monthly payroll on time in coordination with the accountant. Staff discipline and performance management. Support compliance with labour laws and regulations and ensure all staff comply with hotel rules and standards. Training and development. Staff leave and schedule management. Communication link between management and staff. Handle general administrative correspondence. Maintain confidentiality of staff and management information. Conflict resolutions in neutrality and fairness.
Requirements:
A minimum of an HND in human resources, business administration or a related field. Professional certification (such as CIPM, SHRM, PHRI, etc.) is an added advantage. A minimum of 2-4 years in HR/admin roles in the hotel or hospitality industry. Must know core HR skills like recruitment and onboarding, disciplinary procedures, performance management, payroll and staff attendance management. Basic knowledge of Nigerian labour law, HR policies and procedures and ability to draft official documents. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Basic use of HR or payroll systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Willing to work full-time, including occasional weekends if needed. Remuneration: NGN 150,000 Monthly Gross
