About the role
Responsibilities: Build the pipeline: Develop and execute a business development strategy targeting Federal MDAs, parastatals, state governments, and enterprise clients across Nigeria. Lead key account engagement: Personally own relationships with permanent secretaries, directors of ICT, directors of procurement, and other key decision-makers across at least 30 priority MDAs and parastatals. Drive bid management: Oversee the production of proposals, capability statements, technical bids, and Expression of Interest (EOI) responses to BPP-driven and selective tender opportunities. Ensure every submission is competitive, compliant, and on time. Position the brand: Define and execute TSES's market positioning across thought leadership content, public relations, industry forum participation, and digital channels with a focus on B2B and government audiences, not consumer marketing. Lead the team: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing business development and marketing team. Set targets, monitor KPIs, and build a culture of disciplined execution. Forge strategic alliances: Build partnerships with Big Four consulting firms (PwC, KPMG, Deloitte, and EY) and other systems integrators to access subcontracted government digital transformation work. Performance report: Track contract pipeline, win rates, customer acquisition cost, and revenue forecasts. Present monthly performance reports directly to the CEO and quarterly reports to the board.
