About the role

Responsibilities: Research capital markets trends, financial instruments, and market conditions to support senior analysts and managers in making informed decisions. Analyse financial data, economic indicators, and market information to identify trends and opportunities within capital markets. Assist in managing investment portfolios, monitoring performance, and making recommendations for optimization. Preparing and presenting reports, presentations, and investment summaries for internal stakeholders and clients based on market analysis. Help build and maintain relationships with clients by addressing queries, offering insights, and supporting senior team members in client meetings. Provide support in capital market transactions, including equity and debt financing, mergers, and acquisitions. Manage documentation, ensure compliance with company policies, and assist with various administrative functions related to capital markets. Collaborate with team members to assess market risks and assist in developing risk mitigation strategies. Work closely with other team members on strategic initiatives, collaborating on projects, and supporting the overall objectives of the capital markets team. Requirements: A minimum of a BSc in finance, economics, accounting, computer science, engineering, estate management, law, or a related field. A relevant master's degree will be an added advantage. A minimum of 1 year post-NYSC cognate experience and a proven track record will be an added advantage. Professional qualification will be an added advantage. ACA, ACS, ACCA, ACIS, ACIB, or relevant professional qualification. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent decision-making and organisational skills. Highly computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and related business and communication tools. Critical thinker with innovative problem-solving skills. Teamwork and team leadership skills. Outstanding managerial skills. Good time-management skills. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Not more than 35 years.
