About the role
Responsibilities: Identify and prospect new clients, markets, and business opportunities. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and potential partners. Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients. Prepare and present proposals and presentations to potential clients. Negotiate contracts and agreements to close new business deals. Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop strategies and ensure business growth. Track and report on sales performance, market activities, and competitor analysis. Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to represent the company and build new business relationships. Assist in the development and implementation of business development strategies. Manage and follow up on client inquiries and requests. Ensure excellent customer service and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
0 - 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing. Proven ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close sales. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to make informed decisions. Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), and other business development tools.
Good Knowledge of:
Power Generating Set Market (Diesel & Gas Generators) Solar Power System Equipment for the Construction & Mining Industry is essential
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of industry-specific trends and market dynamics. Experience with digital marketing or e-commerce platforms Remuneration: NGN 1 50,000 - 200,000
