About the role
Responsibilities: Lead the planning, execution, fabrication, installation, and dismantling of experiential marketing projects, exhibitions and brand activations. Review, interpret, and validate client briefs, 3D renders and production specifications before execution. Develop comprehensive project execution plans, detailing project scope, timelines, milestones, resource allocation, budgets, procurement schedules, production activities, logistics, installation plans, and project close-out requirements. Translate creative concepts into practical fabrication and production plans while maintaining design intent and functionality. Develop comprehensive project execution plans, production schedules, installation timelines, and manpower plans. Lead project execution from design approval through fabrication, logistics, installation, event delivery, dismantling, and final handover. Coordinate activities across the Creative, 3D Design, Client Service, Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Supervise workshop operations, fabrication teams, installers, carpenters, welders, painters, electricians, and freelance production crews. Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQs), material specifications, and production requirements for each project. Source, evaluate, negotiate, and manage fabricators, production vendors, and specialist subcontractors to ensure quality and timely delivery. Conduct site inspections and technical assessments before production and installation, identifying risks and developing mitigation plans. Monitor project budgets, material consumption, labor costs, and production expenses to ensure projects remain commercially viable. Ensure fabricated items comply with approved drawings, client expectations, structural integrity requirements, and company quality standards before installation. Provide onsite leadership during installations, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and within approved timelines. Resolve technical, operational, and onsite challenges proactively while maintaining project momentum. Implement and enforce quality assurance, health, safety, and operational standards across workshops and project sites. Prepare project progress reports, production updates, and post-project evaluations for management. Continuously improve production processes, fabrication techniques, workflow efficiency, and project execution standards Coach, mentor, and develop workshop personnel and project teams to improve technical capability, accountability, and productivity.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in project management, architecture, industrial design or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing experiential projects, event production, fabrication, exhibition construction or similar large-scale project execution. Demonstrated experience interpreting 3D design, supervising fabrication teams, and delivering complex experiential projects from concept to completion. Experience working within an experiential agency, event production company, or creative production environment is highly preferred. Professional certifications in project management are an added advantage.
Knowledge, Skills & Attitude:
Strong understanding of experiential project execution and production planning. Excellent ability to interpret 3D renders, technical drawings, construction details, elevations, and production specifications. Extensive knowledge of fabrication materials, including MDF, marine plywood, acrylic, aluminum, steel, ACP, PVC, foam board, vinyl, glass, fabrics, lighting, and finishing techniques. Strong workshop, fabrication, and installation management skills. Excellent project planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution capabilities. Strong vendor management and negotiation skills. Excellent budgeting, cost-control, and resource allocation skills. Good understanding of structural integrity, construction methods, logistics planning, and installation techniques. Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution abilities under pressure. High attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional quality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace and the ability to interpret drawings produced in SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar design software. Ability to manage multiple high-value projects simultaneously while meeting demanding deadlines. High level of professionalism, accountability, initiative, and ownership.
Working Conditions:
Physical role: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday – Friday). Frequent travel to execution locations. Regular supervision of fabrication workshops, production activities, installations, and event executions Extended work hours, weekends, and public holidays during project execution periods.
