About the role
Responsibilities:
Data Entry & Record-Keeping:
Accurately input and maintain day-to-day financial transactions.
Invoice Processing:
Prepare and process basic invoices and receipts, and assist in cross-checking them against payments and expenses.
Accounts Support:
Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks, and flagging outstanding balances to the senior account officer.
Bank Reconciliation Support:
Support the reconciliation of bank statements and petty cash records under supervision.
Filing & Documentation:
Organize and maintain financial documents, receipts, and records,both physical and digital, ensuring they are easily retrievable.
Expense Tracking:
Help monitor and log organizational and property-related expenses.
Software Utilization:
Use internal accounting software to enter, update, and retrieve financial account information.
Administrative Support:
Provide general administrative support to the finance team, including preparing simple reports and assisting during audits.
Requirements:
A degree in accounting or a related field. Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience post-NYSC. Additionally, candidates currently serving in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or seeking a Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) are also encouraged to apply. Basic computer skills with working knowledge of MS Excel; familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage is an advantage. Good numerical skills with the ability to keep accurate and organized records. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain clear, accurate financial records. Good interpersonal and communication skills Eager to learn, self-motivated, and able to work well within a team Able to manage multiple small tasks at once, and willing to take direction and grow under the mentorship of senior finance staff. The candidate should be under 25 years old
Location:
Abuja. Remuneration: NGN 150,000-200,000 Monthly
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday (Onsite) - 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.
