Account Officer

Responsibilities: Manage all financial records of the hotel (income and expenses). Ensure no revenue leakage or unrecorded payments. Daily, weekly, monthly, yearly monitoring and reporting of all financial income and expenses. Reconcile daily cash collections, monitor bank accounts and inflows, and investigate and resolve discrepancies immediately. Staff payroll management. Enforce financial policies and procedures, Prevent fraud and theft by documenting all transactions. Carry out periodic audits (cash, stock and records). Work closely with all revenue-generating departments. Providing support in developing and implementing annual budgets, financial forecasts and planning processes. Requirements: A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in accounting or finance. A minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field. Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA or equivalent) is an added advantage. Knowledge of FIRS, tax regulations and financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and any accounting software. High level of integrity, attention and ability to meet deadlines. Preferably, the candidate resides on the mainland or around the OPIC Building. Remuneration
